To run a successfull event, we need a team of 300+ passionate and suportive volunteers. Roles include; time limited options like registration, medal processions to full time roles like aid station captains.  

We use 4KM worth of marking tape on the course of the Karkloof 100 Miler. 

Markers run/walk the entire course the week before, laying out the course. 

We need about 20 sweepers to fully cover the course. Sweepers need incredible patience, stamina and event experierence in dealing with runners. 

A number of 'volunteer' aspects of the event can be commercialised to benefit small or large companies through exposure and enagement with the running community.
